cannabis joint. The global event is held on April 20 every year and many people use it to protest the legality of cannabis in countries where its recreational use is still prohibited, such as in the UK.MyLondon reporter Jacob Phillips was at the scene interviewing participants and recorded a video of the man, named Theo, with the giant spliff.
Theo says: "This is 100g of pure weed, pure Skywalker OG, it took me six hours just to grind it up."As you can see, it smells very nice." Theo said it cost between £650 and £700 for the cannabis and explained that he and his friend split the cost and agreed to share the spliff for the 420 event.Jacob posted the video on Twitter with the caption: "We have found and interviewed the man with Hyde Park’s biggest zoot."One viewer commented: "That doesn't look like £650 worth to me.""That's no Zoot it's a toothpick," joked a second user.Someone else wrote: "And he's just letting it burn freely like that?
What waste."It's not clear how 420 Day got its name but it has been celebrated since the 1970s and the gathering in Hyde Park is one of the most popular events in the UK.Meanwhile, cannabis might be given the green light as a painkiller on the NHS depending on the results of a huge clinical trial.
