Camila Cabello cleared the air about the purse that she carried while attending the 2024 Met Gala last month during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

If you forgot, the 27-year-old “HE KNOWS” hitmaker walked the red carpet at the event clutching a bag made out of solid ice with a rose in the middle.

Reports at the time quickly suggested that she dropped $25,000 on the bag. Keep reading to find out more… Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Camila made it very clear that she did not drop that sort of money on her bag.

She said that she saw the rumor spreading on social media and was surprised by it. “I was like, ‘Guys, it’s water, frozen,’” she said. “You can make it at home.” Camila continued, clarifying, “It’s however much water costs plus a rose that we got from Etsy.” While the bag was not as expensive as the rumors suggested, it did cause Camila some extra stress during the event.
