Bungling burglar smashed into school during lockdown 'and left blood everywhere'

Ashley Colbert, 38, broke into Mickleover Primary School, Derby, when it shut its doors to adhere to coronavirus lockdown. The burglar smashed through a window during the early hours of April 5, and ransacked the front office.
Colbert made his way through confidential drawers, and forced open a cabinet open that had held six laptops, DerbyshireLive reports.
Derby Crown Court heard that there had been a "significant amount of blood at the scene" and Colbert had "clearly injured himself." Prosecuting, Sarah Allen, said a security guard saw the damage to
