Brits could 'travel freely across Europe in July with no quarantine'

Covid-19 Operations Committee will meet this week to negotiate air and sea bridges.The government’s two-week travel quarantine comes into force today.New rules will require all people arriving in the UK – including UK nationals – to self-isolate for 14 days.Those arriving by plane, ferry, or train will have to give an address where they will self-isolate.Home Secretary Priti Patel said the laws are designed “to prevent a second wave”.But Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary told the BBC: You could be in Sainsbury's, you could be on the beach, you could be on the golf course in the unlikely event the Home Office calls you – all they will have is a mobile number."Heathrow boss John Holland-Kaye warned the scheme would hasten the loss of up to 25,000.
