Russia is attempting to link a British "mercenary" facing a possible "death penalty" to a "mass grave" which allegedly contains over 280 civilian corpses in Ukraine.
A state-run news agency claimed to have snapped a "diary" of fighter Andrew Hill, 35, from Plymouth, who surrendered to Vladimir Putin's army.
