BRIT Awards fans were all in agreement tonight that Little Simz's mum "stole the show". The rapper, 27, took her mother up onto the stage at London's O2 Arena as she collected her first ever gong.

Little Simz - real name Simbiatu Abisola Abiola Ajikawo - picked up the award for Best New Artist and, standing by her side at the lectern, her proud mum could not have looked more delighted.

She even lifted her daughter's iconic silhouette into the air and cheered with glee along with the audience. Bringing tears to fans' eyes, Little Simz then thanked her mum for her support and told her: "Look what you done, mum.
