Amazon has released the first full trailer for theBorat sequel, Sacha Baron Cohen's filmed-in-secret follow-up to his hit 2006 film.
Filmed with the plan to release the sequel, titledBorat Subsequent Moviefilm,leading up to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, the filmwill feature Cohen's fictional journalist coming face-to-face with conservative America, including prominent Republican politicians.
Following an intense bidding war, Amazon will release Borat Subsequent MoviefilmonOct. 23. Directed by Jason Woliner, the trailer teases Borat's move from Kazakhstan to the United States for a special mission — and includes a surprise convention drop-in during a Mike Pence speech.
