Bobby Shmurda is almost home. An officer from the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision has reportedly told Complex that the long-incarcerated rapper is expected to appear in front of the Board of Parole later this month — the week of August 17, to be precise.

Shmurda (real name Ackquille Jean Pollard) was sentenced to seven years behind bars back in 2016 after pleading guilty to criminal weapons possession charges.
