A 'traumatised' blind dog found tied up and abandoned at a train station has found a loving, new home after a rescue effort by selfless volunteers.
Penny was found in early December last year 'clearly suffering from problems with her eyes' as well as an ear infection, a rescue charity said.
After further vet examinations the unfortunate pup was found to have been suffering with Glaucoma for some time. The dog was closely monitored and vets tried hard to save her eyesight but sadly there was nothing that could be done and so she was left blind.
