hill walker who died after a horror mountain fall has been described as “the nicest guy you could ever meet” by heartbroken friends and loved ones.

Cameron Steel had been out with a friend on the Three Sisters route in Glencoe on Saturday when the duo got into difficulty at around 3.35pm.

The popular 35-year-old, from Glasgow, fell and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. His body was recovered by a HM Coastguard helicopter a short time later.

Dozens of tributes have been paid to Cameron, who worked as a marketing and communications executive for Nuffield Health. His devastated partner broke the news of his tragic passing on social media and urged people to hug their loved ones tightly.
