BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty sent well wishes by co-star after show absence

BBC Breakfast's Rachel Burden wished Naga Munchetty well and told her to "get well soon" after stepping up to the plate to take the reins on Saturday morning.Hosting alongside Roger Johnson, Rachel was quick to address why Naga was absent from her usual role.

Taking to Twitter prior to going live on air, Rachel provided fans with an update. Sharing a picture of herself and Roger, Rachel penned: "Delighted to be back with this fella on the sofa again this morning. @BBCBreakfast."She then added: "(Get well soon @TVNaga01 [kissing emoji)."Rachel swiftly deleted the tweet before reposting an hour later – but taking out the message about Naga.

Naga has been active on Twitter today however and has retweeted some posts about Afghanistan girls' education and the sad news that Taylor Hawkins from The Foo Fighters passing.

This came after BBC Breakfast was unexpectedly pulled off the air this morning.Just before 10am this morning the two hosts interviewed the winner of this year's The Apprentice – but it didn't go as planned when the studio randomly descended into chaos.Alarm bells began to ring before an automated announcer said: "Attention, attention, please evacuate the building by the nearest available exit."Looking completely taken aback and confused, the two hosts couldn't understand what was going on when the studio's atmosphere changed in an instant."I'm so sorry everyone, for the time being, we're going to have to leave the studios," Rachel said quickly.Roger then added: "Thank you, enjoy whatever you're doing for the rest of the day, I think we are going to have to go."Viewers at home were worried about the incident, with many taking to Twitter to air their concern.
