BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was nowhere to be seen this week, after being replaced by stand-in host Rachel Burden.Rachel could be seen alongside regular presenter Charlie Stayt on the red sofa on Thursday (April 14), while Naga has been conspicuously absent from the show for more than a week.Last week, Rachel was in line to take Naga's place, with the star once again missing.So far she hasn't spoken out about her absence, with her last Twitter post being to congratulate her BBC co-star on his new job as Political Editor.Chris Mason was announced as the formal replacement for Laura Kuenssberg yesterday.
It comes just weeks after her co-star Dan Walker quit the show for good in favour of a new job with rival network Channel 5, announcing: "Hello, Dan Walker here.
I have a little bit of news for you. In the next few weeks, I'm going to be leaving BBC Breakfast and moving to 5 News and to Channel 5."I'm really excited but this has also been a massive decision for me because I love BBC Breakfast.
