Chris Hemsworth

Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away (2004–07) before beginning a film career in Hollywood by taking on parts in the science fiction film Star Trek (2009) and the thriller A Perfect Getaway (2009).

Hemsworth went on to star in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), the war film Red Dawn (2012), the action thriller Blackhat (2015), the biographical thriller In the Heart of the Sea (2015), the comedy Ghostbusters (2016), and the Men in Black film series spin-off Men in Black: International (2019). His most critically acclaimed roles include the comedy horror The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and the biographical sports film Rush (2013), in which he portrayed James Hunt.

BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty has reacted to the news that a TV rival had decided to call time on his career at Channel 4.The 46-year-old re-shared the Twitter post concerning editor Ben de Pear -who was now stepping down from his role after 10 years in the position.Showing acknowledgement to a fellow in the industry, Naga shared the tweet from a Channel 4 news corespondent, Ciaran Jenkins.The 38-year-old paid thanks to his co-star Ben and wrote a heartfelt message that he shared with his 64,000 followers.He penned: "I've been at @Channel4News for a decade and @bendepear has been editor almost all that time."He’s been a fantastic, inspirational boss - I owe him so much.

A new era begins today."Attached to Ciaran's tweet was a publication which had been titled: "Farewell to departing editor Ben de Pear."The article read: "We don't often spend time recognising the off-screen team- who are really the ones who make this programme what it is."Under Ben's editorship, Channel 4 News has won more awards than at any time in its history."Naga is no stranger when it comes to re-sharing information of people moving on being promoted when it comes to the world of live TV.Last week, the BBC newsreader responded on social media to a colleague who had confirmed a move to ITV News later this year.On Friday, Sarah Corker a news reporter explained that she was leaving the BBC to join ITV.Responding to the exciting news, Naga re-shared the post along with the caption: "Congratulations."Sarah explained to her 6,000 followers: "I’m delighted to be joining @ITVNews as the Social Affairs Correspondent based in the north of England in March."It’s been quite the journey at @bbcnews over the last 13 years."Thank you to my fantastic colleagues.
