Dan Walker has hit back at an angry golf fan on Twitter after the viewer complained to the BBC about BBC Breakfast - claiming that "golf is never mentioned" on the morning show.

The fuming social media user was upset about the alleged lack of golf coverage on Breakfast and believed the show had discarded golf champion Richard Bland's big win at the weekend.

The online golf fan complained to the broadcaster about the programme's news bulletins, and also fired at Dan's co-stars Naga Munchetty and Louise Minchin.

Bland, 48, won his first European Tour title against opponent Guido Migliozzi over the weekend on his 478th start on the tour.Venting his frustration online, the user tweeted: "Come on @BBC...
