BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker was left shocked after co-host Sally Nugent took a swipe at his stint on Cbeebies Bedtime Stories.

Earlier today the pair discussed Kate Middleton's upcoming debut on the story-telling programme. Sally told viewers at home: "If you've ever watched CBeebies Bedtime Stories, you'll know they've had some incredible people read their stories." Dan, 44, appeared on the show back in 2012 and Sally, 50, couldn't help but throw shade at her colleague during the segment.

The journalist then turned her body towards Dan and added: "I mean, some quite ordinary people read them as well..." The Strictly star replied: "What you saying?!" Luckily Sally managed to squirm her way out of it and said: "They've got a really special one now.

Their first Royal signing." The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, will appear on Cbeebies Bedtime Stories this Sunday in aid of Children's Mental Health Week. @font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Regular.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:400;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff2') format('woff2'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.woff') format('woff'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.ttf') format('truetype'),url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-Medium.svg#') format('svg');font-style:normal;font-weight:500;font-display:swap;}@font-face{font-family:'The Sun';src:url('/assets/fonts/the-sun/TheSun-HeavyNarrow.woff2').
