BBC Breakfast weather star Carol Kirkwood sent a sympathetic message to her BBC colleague who had to be "carted off" a mountain after a nasty skiing accident.Carol's co-star Sally Bundock, 50, had been on a skiing holiday with her family before things took a terrible turn - ending in her having to be carried off of a mountain.Sally revealed her accident alongside a series of snaps of her leg injury when she returned to work on Monday (March 2) - including a snap of her leg in a brace.Taking to Twitter, the broadcaster jokingly told her 39,300 followers: "I’m not headed to the 'catwalk' this morning… #legbrace #skiaccident."She could be seen wearing a smart blazer in the BBC studios as she returned to her normal work duties - as well as the leg brace.Concerned Carol reposted the tweet in front of her 217k followers and added a sympathetic message which read: "[Shock face emoji] Oh Sal...xxx."It comes after Sally opened up about her injury last week on Wednesday (February 23), giving fans an insight into the seriousness of her injuries as she shared snaps of her crutch and leg brace.She wrote: "When I return to work Monday I'll be sporting an attractive leg brace.
Skiing with the family and busted me knee. Sandy went on: "Was carted off the mountain in a very dramatic style. Thanks to all the medics in @valdisere who were amazing.
