BBC Breakfast viewers are frustrated by the amount of coverage that Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is getting – something which comes after Naga Munchetty reacted to the emotional news.
After spending six years in Iran after getting arrested, Nazanin was given back her British passport earlier this week, and has since flown back to the United Kingdom.Nazanin and Anoosheh Ashoori, who spent five years imprisoned, were flown from Iran to the UK on Wednesday (March 16).Because of the joyous news surrounding Nazanin and Anoosheh being freed, many news outlets' coverage has been dominated by it – but it seems to be proving too much for BBC Breakfast viewers.Taking to Twitter to vent, one viewer penned: "OK, #BBCBreakfast , enough with Nazanin now.
I was interested ten minutes back, now I've had enough. There is a LOT of other news, mostly bad, going on & the govt is doubtless delighted while you obsess on this."While another added: "It's a very happy event with a great outcome but really !....
There's is only so much you can say about the return of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe & Anousheh Ashouri. We're all delighted.
