B&M stores splattered a security room with his own blood, claiming he had Covid-19 and HIV. Desmond Grainger, 39, was stopped outside the B&M store in Birmingham city centre after walking out with £141 worth of items without paying.The notorious man was detained by security guards under 'citizens arrest' but then flew into a rage.He started biting his own arm before spitting his flesh and blood all over the floor, walls and ceiling of one of the store's back rooms.

Further security staff were called to help calm him down which led to him racially abusing one of them.Grainger was arrested and later pleaded guilty to charges of theft, affray, criminal damage and racially aggravated intentional harassment.
