Avowed is Obsidian Entertainment's new Skyrim-like RPG for Xbox Series X and PC
dailystar.co.ukObsidian Entertainment, creators of Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity and The Outer Worlds have announced their new big game.Avowed is a new fantasy roleplaying game coming to Xbox Series X and PC.
The official Xbox website previously listed Xbox One but this now appears to have been removed.The game takes place in Eora, the same setting as Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity series.However, everything shown so far suggests the game will have first-person gameplay, including swordplay and spellcasting.It would be remiss to say there aren't massive Skyrim overtones to the game.Watch out Bethesda.There’s no release date set for Avowed, and certainly no suggestion of any rough dates for when the game could arrive, but we'd imagine it's likely.
