Asda security guard goes viral after reaction to crying child

A kind-hearted Asda security guard has gone viral after his reaction to a crying child. We reported last week how the unknown member of staff was praised for helping a boy who'd become distressed after losing £10 of his parents' money.

Mum Jayde Bond was shopping at the Asda Wythenshawe Superstore on Wednesday evening when she witnessed the guard giving the youngster the money out of his own pocket.

The mum-of-three took to social media to praise his actions and told the Manchester Evening News that his 'generosity was something that deserved to be acknowledged and applauded'.
