gun and a knife who took police on a 100mph car chase through Manchester's streets walked free from court. Derick Dapaah and Samuel Mozimbi, both aged 18, robbed two victims after convincing them that they would sell them a watch near Crowcroft Park in Levenshulme.
According to Manchester Evening News, the victims, aged 17 and 18, had clothing and valuables taken from them as well as the keys to a silver VW Golf.
Manchester Crown Court heard how the streets were relatively quiet at the time due to lockdown restrictions, with a patrolling armed police unit spotting the stolen Golf soon after the victims called emergency services.A pursuit began and Dapaah embarked on a 'prolonged course of high-risk, dangerous' driving from the city centre.
