Ant McPartlin branded Stephen Mulhern a "dirty lobster" after the funny-man interrupted his acceptance speech at the 2022 TV BAFTAs.Stephen joined Ant and Declan Donnelly on-stage after they won the award for Entertainment programme for Saturday Night Takeaway.As Ant and Dec started sharing their thanks, Stephen poked his head through in between them and thanked the crowd.Ant turned round and told him: "We'll get to you, you dirty lobster!"He was actually referencing a scene from the show in which Stephen had dressed as a bright red lobster, but he called him it again towards the end of their speech.When they finally got going, Ant said: "What a great start to the night!"Dec confessed they were "convinced they weren't going to get it this year" so had "just come for a party".He went on: "This is a really wonderful cherry on the cake, this is for season 17 of Saturday Night Takeaway which we did with no studio audience."The Geordie lad explained they'd wondered whether "anyone was watching" at home, because of the strange way the show was being filmed due to the Covid pandemic.Ant told the audience: "We still love doing it."And then stepped aside for "one last word from the dirty lobster".Stephen then popped up between Ant and Dec again and added: "Thank you guys!"This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
