A total of eight ambulances were seen queuing up outside the Emergency Department on Monday evening (July 12). The M.E.N understands that patients have been faced with long waits at the A&E department today as Greater Manchester’s hospital system deals with increasing pressures.
Health chiefs last week said emergency departments across the conurbation have seen a ‘significant increase’ in demand in recent weeks with staff working ‘incredibly hard' to care for patients safely and efficiently.
