Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt on FC United draw, 'embarrassed' for players and 'unacceptable' performance

The non-league side were the better side on the day at Broadhurst Park and deservedly took the lead when a trialist took advantage of Joel Dixon losing possession early in the second half to give the hosts the advantage.

But Wanderers were able to grab an equaliser just before full-time when defender George Johnston headed home from close range to ensure Bolton remain unbeaten in pre-season.

Wanderers are next in action this Tuesday when they head to the County Ground in Leyland to take on Championship side Preston North End.
