All three teenagers accused of the murder of PC Andrew Harper are today pictured for the first time. Henry Long, 19, and Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers, both 18, deny murdering PC Andrew Harper whose "utterly catastrophic" injuries were detailed to a jury today on day two of the defendants' retrial.
Long from Mortimer, Reading, has admitted the manslaughter of the Thames Valley Police officer, but has denied intending to kill him while passengers Cole, from Aldermaston, and Bowers and Long, both from Mortimer, Reading, have admitted conspiring to steal the quad bike.
Today the court heard PC Harper died at the scene with injuries across his body as his colleagues battled to save his life on a Berkshire lane.
