Alexis Sanchez says he tried to terminate his Manchester United contract and return to Arsenal after his very first training session at Carrington.
Chile international Sanchez left Arsenal for United in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan go the other way back in 2018.
Sanchez put pen to paper on a deal worth £500,000-a-week at Old Trafford, making him the Premier League's best-paid player at the time.
But by the forward's own admission, things didn't feel right from the off at United, and speaking frankly in an Instagram video, Sanchez has revealed that he asked to terminate his Red Devils contract after just one training session.
