Alcohol support group members left distraught after Zoom meeting was hacked and sick child abuse footage shown

A support group video meeting for people giving up alcohol was hacked with child sex abuse footage. Members of the Sober Experiment meeting were left reeling in shock after somebody logged into the video meeting, being held on Zoom, and played two abuse clips using the split screen option.

More than 150 people were participating in the discussion when the sick video clips were played by the hacker. Zoom bosses have described the incident as 'truly devastating' and say they have made the Zoom Meeting ID less visible to help prevent hacking.
