Mum left distraught after thieves stole teddy bear from baby daughter's grave

A mum has been left heartbroken to find thieves had raided the tributes placed lovingly on her baby daughter's grave. A teddy bear and flowers were among the items stolen from Kamie-Jane Elkington's daughter's burial place.

The mum was stunned to find items she left for her daughter Lottie at her grave in Babworth cemetery in Nottinghamshire had vanished.

Among the items missing, which Kamie has reported to the police as stolen, are flowers, a wooden Peter Rabbit toy and a big teddy bear.

Kamie says she has been left distraught after the incident, and doesn't understand why anybody would do such a thing. She told Lincolnshire Live : "I went down to the grave on June 24 and lay some fresh flowers down and the kids took a wooden Peter Rabbit
