Manchester United fans would have the power of veto over the club ever trying to enter another European Super League and the Glazers would be forced into meaningful communication with supporters under proposals included in a "momentous" fan-led review into football.
The proposals - which would transform the landscape of English football forever - are part of a fan-led review into football that also recommends creating an independent regulator with wide-ranging powers and creating a shadow board of fans that clubs must interact with.
The Manchester United Supporters Trust welcomed the review and the golden share proposal - but said it was "disappointed" that the issue of fan ownership wasn't more broadly explored.
