Ted Cheeseman celebrated the launch of Eddie Hearn's Fight Camp with a points win over Sam Eggington in his promoter's back garden.
Cheeseman suffered two defeats last year - to Sergio Garcia and Scott Fitzgerald - with a draw with Kieron Conway completing a three-fight winless streak.
And while his clash with Eggington didn't quite break into the war we had hoped for, Cheeseman will have an extra skip in his step as he leaves the quarantined bubble.
He had the Birmingham man in trouble in the third round but appeared unwilling to empty the tank at that early stage. And he held off a second-half fightback from his more experienced opponent before being given the nod by all three judges.
