Scentschools’, where you are taught what goes into making a fragrance, and get a voucher for your favourite (from £38).I’ve been enjoying Cobalt Patchouli & Cedar by Jo Loves, too.
It was created by perfumer Jo Malone in direct response to the unsettling first year we all had during the lockdowns. It’s bold and uplifting, like spritzing bottled-up good vibes (you’ve got blue grapefruit to thank for that). The deliciously grounding Nº 01 by Stories is also a great option if you prefer notes of wood and amber.
If it’s pure luxury you’re after, Love, Don’t Be Shy Extreme by Kilian is so rich with Bulgarian rose that you don’t need more than one spritz to give you a little, er, Bulgarian courage (you’ll need it – it’s £225).At the other end of the price scale is La Librairie Pétale Lush, from the new perfume range at Boots.
It is full of pleasing bergamot and peach, and comes in a flacon that looks far more expensive than its £25 price tag. Best of all, it gives off a lovely whiff of optimism, which I will gladly take.Follow our Stella Facebook page for the latest from Stella Magazine, and join the Telegraph Women Facebook group, a place to discuss our storiesWe rely on advertising to help fund our award-winning journalism. We urge you to turn off your ad blocker for The Telegraph website so that you can continue to access our quality content in the future.Thank you for your support.Need help?Visit our page..
