Bolton Railway Station have been completed. The past year has been spent overhauling the station to improve it for customers and staff.
Waiting rooms and toilets have been refurbished, and new signage and seating have been fitted, along with pigeon netting to 'aid cleanliness'.Large rooms on platforms four and five, dating back to the early 1900s, have been restored and will be used for innovative community and educational projects, as well as retail facilities.The Platform 5 Gallery has already had exhibitions and a full programme is ready to start once COVID-19 restrictions are removed.Staff break areas and the station manager's office have also been revamped.
