K-Pop is a tough industry! Over the past few months, we’ve seen many of our favorite boy bands and girl groups sadly disband.

The reasons vary greatly – from members deciding to move on past their exclusive contracts and explore new avenues like acting, modeling and solo music careers, to agencies simply deciding that they are no longer moving forward with the groups due to poor performance.

In 2024, we’ve already seen two groups sadly disband so far – and several more have their contracts expiring this year. Click through to find out which groups have disbanded in 2024…

Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff has paid a heartfelt tribute to Robin Windsor, who passed away last month and was found in a London hotel after enjoying a once in a lifetime cruise sailing around Africa with professional dancer Gordana Grandosek. Robin and Kristina were long-term dance partners, with the latter sharing a number of pictures to Instagram of them together as she wrote: "I wish I can hold you in my arms and dance with you one more dance … love you and miss you, always and forever Robin, thank you for all the beautiful memories …". One of the pictures was a sign from Robin's funeral, which took place on March 24 and was said to be a 'colourful' occasion.
