dailyrecord.co.ukcar crash has branded the driver who tried to frame her a 'toxic monster'. Ellie Plenderleith, 20, said she has lived in constant anxiety since the horror crash which killed friend Jack Frame, 16, on New Trows Road, Lesmahagow on February 10, 2019.
Driver Kanad Basi pled guilty at the High Court in Glasgow on Monday to causing the death of Jack by driving dangerously. Basi, from Pollokshields, Glasgow, was almost twice the drink drive limit, had taken cocaine and ecstasy and drove into a bend at speed, lost control and crashed into a tree.
