drink and drug-fuelled crash yesterday blasted prosecutors for ditching an appeal to extend the driver’s jail sentence.Jack Frame, 16, died two years ago today when Kanad Basi, 23, crashed his BMW into a tree while high on a cocktail of booze, cocaine and ecstasy then tried to frame an innocent passenger.Jack’s shattered mum and dad, Amanda and David, had been preparing for an appeal against Basi’s “lenient” four year eight month sentence this week but were devastated to be told that the case had been scrapped.
