WWE."The daughter of WWE Chief Executive Officer Vince McMahon has spent the majority of her life with the wrestling company as both in-ring and behind the scenes.On Twitter, the wife of Triple H wrote late on Thursday (May 19): "As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. "WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family."The news comes after Triple H, one of WWE's most iconic performers, underwent a medical procedure in the wake of a 'cardiac event' in September last year.
WWE gave few details on the health scare at the time, but said Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, underwent a 'successful procedure'.The procedure was carried out at Connecticut's Yale New Haven Hospital, with the company adding that the 'episode' related to a genetic issue.Presently Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development in WWE, the 52-year-old is the son-in-law to Vince McMahon, and husband of Stephanie, the company's Chief Brand Officer.In late March this year, Triple H explained to First Take‘s Stephen A Smith that he was battling viral pneumonia.“From the viral pneumonia, I had fluid in my lungs, fluid around my heart," he said. “They followed up on it, did an EKG.
