Whether they loved him or hated him, they couldn’t ignore him.He took walk-ons in a new direction, taking inspiration from none other than the biggest name in WWE at the time, CM Punk.
Nicholson copied Punk by regularly yelling “it’s clobberin’ time!” during walk-ons and sitting cross-legged on stage. Explaining how Punk – real name Phil Brooks - inspired him at the time, Nicholson said, as per WestleTalk: “I’m a massive WWE fan, there’s a lot of WWE fans in the darting crowd, going to the tours that they do over here. “I shout ‘it’s clobberin’ time’ because that’s exactly what CM Punk shouts.
