With the nation trapped inside their homes for most of the year, the telly has become our only form of entertainment. Alongside watching our favourite programmes on the box comes the many, many commercial breaks.

But rather than up their game in these dark times, companies have treated us to some of the worst adverts of all time. And people are struggling decide which ad was most annoying because there were so many options.

Most of these commercials went viral for all the wrong reasons and had us switching over the channel, so its hard to imagine why anyone would agree to make them.
