Workers' rights protected in EU law would be torn up under plans being drawn up by the Tories, it has been reported. The Business Department plans to rip apart vital rules governing the 48-hour week, rest breaks at work and not including overtime pay when calculating some holiday pay entitlements, according to the Financial Times.
