Women's Euros fans furious at BBC coverage as major gaffe 'ruined' penalty

Women’s Euro 2022 group stage match were raging after a BBC blunder.The Group D encounter saw Les Bleues defeat their close rivals 2-1 - but many watching the coverage on TV were pulling their hair out back at how out of sync the audio and footage were.

At one point, Belgium player Amber Tysiak was shown a second yellow card for a late ­handball and France were awarded a penalty, which was subsequently saved by Nicky Evrard.But those at home said that they could hear the incident before they saw it, in what was a major gaffe.

One fumed online during the match: “I'd like to thank the broadcast sound department there for being three seconds ahead of the footage so I knew what was about to happen AT A PENALTY KICK.” One replied: “I thought it was my TV or something.
