A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash in Tameside. Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Victoria Street, at the junction with Clarendon Road, just before 10.30am this morning (Tuesday).
Two cars collided with each other, police said. One of the drivers - a woman aged in her 40s - was taken to hospital from the scene in a serious condition. Clarendon Road, at the junction with Commercial Brow and Victoria Street, was blocked after the incident. It is now open as normal.
