A fitness fan has hit out at the double standards between men and women after saying she was ordered to "put on a shirt" or leave the gym.
Julia Maren says she was working out when she was approached, asked to take her headphones out and told she would have to cover up if she wanted to continue her exercise.
She posted a photo on Instagram showing her outfit, adding she was told that a t-shirt could be provided for her if needed, but no explanation was given as to why her gym wear was considered inappropriate, as reported by the Daily Star.
Julia, from Tennessee, says that she was made to feel unwelcome for having "three inches of my waist exposed" while men were happily allowed to wear "cutout vests that shows their whole nipple".
