mum has slammed council housing bosses after they forced her and her two-year-old son to live in a "disgusting" home reportedly infested with rats.
Jordanne Lynch, 23, claims she is currently living in fear after her home became overrun with rodents last year. She says the rats have been munching through her food and that she's even found droppings in her little boy Ethan's bed.
Jordanne says she has been pleading the council housing provider to get rid of the vermin at her Northampton home.But she says Northampton Partnership Homes (NPH) have refused to help – claiming dealing with pests is the resident's responsibility.Jordanne is worried for her and her son's health as her terraced property continues to be plagued by rats.
The pests have reportedly been gaining access to the home through two holes in a wall and one in the loft. Support worker Jordanne said: "It's horrible.
