Bruno Fernandes and Fred entered the Manchester United history books on Sunday as they achieved a rare feat. The pair were both on the scoresheet as United beat Leeds 4-2 at Elland Road to give their hopes of finishing in the Premier League’s top four another much-needed boost.
And it wasn’t the first time they managed to score against United’s old rivals this season either, with both Fernandes and Fred also on the scoresheet for the opening day 5-1 thrashing of Leeds at Old Trafford.
And the feat of scoring both home and away against their Yorkshire rivals puts them in esteemed company, with only five players having previously done the same.
