Welcoming a baby into the world is a massive event for any parent, but one Aussie mum experienced the ultimate birthing experience - bringing her daughter to life while seated on the road of Sydney's M7 motorway.
According to NSW Police, senior constable Andrew Mazan was working on highway patrols on the M7 in western Sydney at about 10.30am on Thursday when he heard calls from help from the parents.
Quick on his feet, Constable Mazan moved the parents to a nearby breakdown bay - moments later his colleague sergeant Vince Conciatore arrived and the two followed instructions from the Ambulance Control Centre on how to tackle the situation until paramedics made their way to the highway.
