A grieving family has been able to preserve a memory of their four-year-old daughter in an unexpected way. Jillian Caslick died unexpectedly on March 3 in her family's home in London, Ontario.
Last week her parents saw her face illuminated on the window during a lightning storm, revealing that at some point Jillian had pressed her face against the window of her playroom and left a smudge.
Steve and Rebekah Caslick posted photos of the mark on Facebook, and asked if anyone knew of a way they could preserve it. Luckily family friend Kimberley Vander Schelde knows someone who works for London Police, and on Wednesday a forensic officer showed up at their home.
