Danny Goldman has died at his home on April 12, surrounded by his family and friends, TMZ reported. He was 80-years-old.He is best known for voicing the character of Brainy Smurf in the popular NBC Saturday morning cartoon series.His agent Doug Ely told the American publication that he died following two strokes that happened around New Year's Eve and his death is not related to coronavirus.Ely took to Facebook to give his decades-long friend a touching tribute."Danny was truly one of a kind.

He always had strong opinions and didn't mind telling you about them."He was incredibly funny. He loved to root for the little guy and help wherever he could.
