Of course, footwear can be uniquely tricky when it comes to fit, and it’s far easier, not to mention less expensive, to try on a few pairs in store instead of ordering six pairs online only to send five of them back and await the refund.
But like trying on clothes, fitting shoes will be fraught with challenges in a post-Covid world. Is there a risk, for instance, in trying on a pair of shoes immediately after another customer?
