It’s the talent show for children where not even the coaches behave like grown-ups. ‘We are kids, too,’ admits Danny Jones, with a big laugh.

Joining Danny, will.i.am and Pixie Lott for the fourth series is singer Paloma Faith, and she’s clearly fitting right in. ‘We are immature,’ she agrees. ‘I’m having the time of my life.’ They will open the super-cute series belting out Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns N’ Roses with their very own mini-mes.

Then the blind auditions begin, and the nation’s amazing children (aged seven to 14) take to the stage and perform to the backs of the coaches, hoping to impress them enough so they smack their buzzers and turn around.
