Manchester United have not shown any interest in signing Julian Alvarez this month amid interest from Man City in a transfer before deadline day.
The Manchester Evening News reported last week that City are in the hunt for the South American Footballer of the Year, who is understood to have a £16.75million release clause in his contract.
However, United have no interest in signing Alvarez at the moment, with a club source recently stating, 'there is nothing in the reports at all'.
Pep Guardiola's side could land Alvarez, 21, this month, but his club River Plate are keen to keep him until the summer at least.
